Book for the World Intellectual Property Day Conference 2022

This year’s conference will be held on Friday 29 April online via Zoom and in person at the Mackenzie Building, Edinburgh.

Open to all advocates, solicitors, devils, trainees, students and other professionals with an interest in IP, it will be chaired by Roisin Higgins QC, an IP law specialist, and Graeme McWilliams, retired in-house lawyer and former IP manager at Standard Life.

This year, the World Intellectual Property Organisation has suggested a World IP Day theme of 'IP and Youth: innovating for a Better Future' and we will be celebrating IP in practice, creativity, and innovation.

We are delighted to welcome our two guest speakers:

Dr Paul Clarke, Senior Technology Transfer Manager, Edinburgh Innovations, who will be speaking about ‘Reflections on Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer and Commercialisation' and Graeme Di Rollo, Legal Counsel, Trustpilot, who will be speaking about 'Trust in IP: Innovations in brand protection'. The full programme is available here.

Registrants will be sent the link for the Zoom Webinar shortly before the event.
