21st Century Bar Conference 

1st December 2023 | 09.00-16.30 (registration from 8.30)| Mackenzie Building, Edinburgh & Virtually 

The conference this year will be hosted in-person at the Mackenzie Building and virtually (platform TBC) by the Faculty of Advocates.

This years conference theme is ‘Embracing Change’, the conference will be split into five sections:

Chapter 1 – The Bench

Chapter 2 – Scottish Industry

Chapter 3 – The Courts

Chapter 4 – Organisations

Chapter 5 – The Bar

The event will be followed by a drinks reception in the Mackenzie Building.

Subject to talk running times, the conference has been accredited with 4hrs of Substantive Law, 1hr of Practice Development and 30 minutes of Advocacy CPD. 

For in-person attendees as lunch will be provided, please ensure to register by Friday 24th November noting any dietary requirements.
